Author Guidelines

Submission checklist

Please use the following list for your final check prior to submission to the journal for review.

Ensure that the following items are present:

One author has been designated as the corresponding author with contact details:

  • E-mail address
  • Full postal address

All co-authors are listed, and correct e-mail addresses and affiliations are provided.

The Journal style has been followed according to the journal’s Author Guidelines.

All co-authors have been notified that the manuscript is being submitted.

All necessary files have been uploaded:

Manuscript: WITHOUT AUTHORS’ INFORMATION

  • Abstract includes keywords
  • All figures have relevant captions
  • All tables have relevant captions, including titles, descriptions, and/or footnotes
  • All figures and tables are cited in the text
  • Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided
  • All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa

Graphical Abstracts / Highlights files

Supplemental files (if available)

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or Latex document file format.
  • The image files is submitted separately in PNG or JPEG file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
