About the Journal

Mission and Scope

Journal of Science and Informatics for Society (JSIS) is a scholarly and an interdisciplinary journal publishing innovative research on the science and informatics that contribute to society.
Its mission is to provide an outlet for quality research that contribute for society. We believe that overcoming global challenges paves the door for fresh ideas, approaches, and methods. Therefore, global sustainability issues are highly preferred in this journal.

JSIS publishes research, review, and survey papers that provide a significant contribution to society, especially in the field of computer science and applied science. All mainstream fields of computer science and applied science, as well as associated applications, are covered.

This journal covers a wide range of topics including, but not limited to:

  • Applied Sciences for Energy and the Environment:
    • Energy materials and ecology materials

    • Modeling and simulation of scientific, engineering, and social systems

Peer Review and Publication

Every manuscript submitted to JSIS undergoes a double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. Reviewers assess its quality, originality, and contribution to science and society. The journal is published twice a year by Faculty of Science and Computer Science, Universitas Pertamina.
